Upon first glance, Victoria by Cocotte might seem intimidating with its marble décor tinted with fine copper and leather—all shining and shimmering as the natural light from its glass windows illuminate it splendidly. However, that’s the exact opposite of what this restaurant actually offers.
Victoria by Cocotte, the newest addition to the Cocotte group, is your 21st-century brasserie located in the Emquartier mall. They revolve around all-day comfort food set in the most beautiful interior just to elevate your dining experience even further. The food is straightforward yet complex, high-quality yet unpretentious; and you can enjoy them from breakfast until dinner in an intended relaxed atmosphere without breaking the bank.
Each dish is prepared meticulously in their open kitchen; giving you a full spectacle of their honest-to-goodness preparation as you watch in awe of how local and organic ingredients are transformed into a French gastronomic indulgence. And just when we thought their food could not get any better, Victoria by Cocotte released a new menu that perfectly embodies modern brasserie, and we are all for it.
Since the lockdown regulations have been lifted, Victoria by Cocotte team has come up with amazing innovations whilst retaining old food concepts: authentic, homemade, and modern. The new menus offer a wide selection of dishes: Victoria’s Truffle Board, Victoria’s homemade smoked salmon, Truffle Roasted Chicken, Cafe de Paris Steak, Creme Brûlée, and Hot Chocolate Brownie.
Go for an explosive start with the Victoria’s Truffle Board (THB 590) and savor all things truffle in one plate. Savor the smokey Truffle Salami and pair it with Homemade Truffle Brie and Truffle Stracciatella; spread in Toasted—you’ve guessed it—Truffle Bread. We suggest that you order two of these (thank us later!).
Another starter that’s sure to whet your appetite is the Victoria’s Homemade Smoked Salmon (THB 460). Victoria by Cocotte makes sure that they process their high-quality salmon to unparalleled perfection and top it with cucumber, dill cream, cherry tomatoes, and lemon zest for added freshness. This melt-in-your-mouth delicacy has a very succulent taste that gives Japanese restaurants a run for their money.
Here’s the tough part: choosing the main entrees. Their Signature Truffle Roasted Chicken (THB 890) is an excellent choice for those who like fall-off-the-bone, tender chicken. Roasted for hours in their rotisserie, its aroma alone will make you want to pinch into its well-seasoned skin; let alone soak it in irresistible truffle cream sauce with shaved fresh truffle on top. “Heavenly,” is how Gordon Ramsey would probably describe it.
On the other hand, the Café de Paris Steak (THB 1490) is also a must-try if you want the whole Victoria by Cocotte experience. Imagine the famous Café de Paris herb butter sauce slowly poured over the tender, grilled Black Angus (400g) right before your very eyes—you’ll want it all for yourself. The meat is very plump and juicy; complemented vibrantly by the herby-sour sauce that’s unlike any other. This dish is served with french fries and salad.
A good meal calls for a good dessert. If you’re craving something light and mellow, the Crème Brûlée (THB 260) is your best bet. Traditionally prepared with Tahitian Vanilla, you’ll enjoy every bite into this decadent cream with shards of burnt caramelized sugar giving a pleasing, contrasting texture.
Love chocolates? This Hot Chocolate Brownie (THB 320) will beckon you to sinful temptation. Feast on a warm, fudgy chocolate brownie with luscious dollops of chocolate ganache and a scoop of French vanilla ice cream on the side—topped with a crispy chocolate tulip for a fanciful delight. Don’t forget to take a selfie with this masterpiece!
Whether you’re coming from a long day in the office or a casual stroll at the mall, let Victoria by Cocotte immerse you in an authentic, modern brasserie and give you a memorable dining experience as you enjoy their comfort food to its fullest.
