Prosperity, the term itself is often used and explored in many cultures and belief systems. It has been accepted universally as a way of living most individuals strive to relate to. It does not only involve materialistic desires, but can also be associated with one's heart and soul. The feeling of prosperity can be received through countless connotations. And in the hustling streets of Lat Phrao, a building tainted with luxury stands proud, maintaining its own unique concept. The Caishen Café, a lavish coffeeshop defining prosperity in its own way.
Caishen Café, designed with the concept of a modernized industrial loft in mind, specializes in fusion dishes, fantastic drinks and financial fortune. And yes, you read correctly. Financial fortune is one of Caishen Café’s unique selling points, being a subsidiary of a well-known broker company in Bangkok, ASL Security. As mentioned, Caishen Café differentiates itself from others by focusing on the thematic of prosperity and wealth. The owners had initially planned to create this space as a place for consumers to work with stocks. Hence why there is a gigantic panel showcasing the fluctuations of real-time stock market prices at the near center of the café which they sectioned as the VIP lounge.
Interestingly enough, the name Caishen is derived from the Chinese god of wealth, which is widely believed to “bestow on his devotees the riches carried about by his attendants.” With the café’s slogan being “rich and tasty,” the meaning is doubled in a way where it does not only define mere materialistic wealth, but also the luscious experience scored through the aromas and the taste of the various dishes as its diverse menu makes it a wonderful dining location for customers who are looking for a successful meal. This makes Caishen Café suitable for all individuals, whether you are in it for the 'gram, or if you’re simply finding a space to work from home.
With specialty themed dishes for each specific month, last month’s spooky season was also blessed by Caishen Café’s imaginative creations with dishes and desserts like Deepsea or Graveyard. The elements of halloween was brought in to decorate each specific menu created, with Deepsea using squid ink pasta as a way to pay tribute to the shadows enveloping the depths of the ocean– an imitation of an abyss full of the unknown. Whilst the Graveyard was an imitation of a tomb straight out of a nightmare. With more festive seasons coming our way, stay tuned for more of Caishens new inventions for us to savour.
With a parking lot on the ground floor, Caishen Café has an overall capacity of one hundred individuals including its terrace, making it a great venue for possible private parties. Furthermore, the place itself has been used for several advertisements, with its rose gold aesthetics acting as a great reflection of elegance and sophistication.
